Chat Platforms
After reading this page you will be able to: configure third-party chat platform integrations, complete pairing approvals, and converse with your local AI via external messaging apps.
1. What Are Communication Channels
Section titled “1. What Are Communication Channels”AIPC UP includes built-in gateway integrations for major communication platforms. Once connected, you can interact with your desktop AI assistant directly from WeChat, Lark, DingTalk, Telegram, Slack, or Discord on your mobile device without opening the AIPC UP client.
2. Supported Platforms and Credential Requirements

3. Standard Setup Flow (5 Steps)
Section titled “3. Standard Setup Flow (5 Steps)”Regardless of the selected platform, follow this standardized flow:
- Verify Active Models: Ensure at least one AI model is functional under “Settings → Required Setup” or “Settings → Models”.
- Add Platform & Credentials: Click the target platform card in the Channels section and input the corresponding tokens/keys.
- Test Connection: Click the “Test Connection” button to validate credentials and confirm connection health.
- Trigger Pairing Approval: When you first message the bot from an external chat app, the software holds the message and triggers an on-screen “Pairing Approval” popup on your desktop. Click “Approve” to authorize the user.
- Set Default Model: Specify the default model and assistant persona for this channel.
4. Authorization Management & Security Checklist
Section titled “4. Authorization Management & Security Checklist”- Strict Approval Policy: Only approve pairing requests from your own accounts or verified team members.
- Authorized Users List: View all paired external accounts in each platform’s settings panel, and click “Revoke Access” anytime.
- Credential Rotation: If a Bot Token is compromised, regenerate it immediately in the provider portal and update AIPC UP.
5. Visual Task Inspection with Screen Wall
Section titled “5. Visual Task Inspection with Screen Wall”When you remotely send complex tasks via WeChat, Lark, DingTalk, Slack, or Telegram (such as “Open the reporting software and export monthly logs”):
- The local AI runs operations on the host desktop while the chat bot streams text summaries.
- Recommended Practice: Open Remote Access (WebUI) on your mobile browser and navigate to Screen Wall.
- Visual Verification: Review the live desktop snapshot to verify software windows and confirm that export workflows completed cleanly.
How to Verify Success
Section titled “How to Verify Success”- Clicking “Test Connection” in the platform configuration succeeds with an active online status indicator.
- Sending a message to the bot from your chat app triggers a desktop pairing prompt, and approving it allows conversation.
- Follow-up prompts receive accurate AI responses streamed directly back into your chat app.
- After delegating desktop tasks via chat, you can inspect execution progress live on the WebUI Screen Wall.
