Required Setup
After reading this page you will be able to: get, save, and check your HuiAI login token so AI can chat normally.
1. Where to configure it
Section titled “1. Where to configure it”Entry: Settings → Necessary Configuration
- It is the first item in the settings sidebar
- It is only available in the desktop app; the web version does not have it
This page requires only one thing: a working HuiAI Login Token. It is the key to HuiAI services, and features such as desktop automation depend on it too.
2. Steps
Section titled “2. Steps”- Click Get Token; your browser opens https://huiai.io/token/. Sign in and copy your token
- Paste the token into the “HuiAI Login Token” input box
- Click Save Token and wait for the “Token saved” message
- Click Check Token and wait for the result
3. Check status messages
Section titled “3. Check status messages”| Display | Meaning | What to do |

| ✓ Token is valid, connection OK | Everything is ready | Start chatting |
| Invalid token, please check and retry | The token is wrong or expired | Copy and paste the token again, then save and check |
| Cannot reach the HuiAI service | Network is down | Check the network and check again |
| The HuiAI service returned an invalid response / Check failed, please retry | Temporary service trouble | Try again later |
4. Account
Section titled “4. Account”Once the check passes, an “Account” card appears below the token card:

To buy more quota, click Go to purchase at the top right of the Account card.
5. Automation status
Section titled “5. Automation status”Below the token card sits an “Automation Status” card showing how the two built-in automation capabilities are doing:

The card offers three buttons: Refresh Status re-reads the status, Detect Connection re-checks the automation environment, and Run Doctor produces diagnostics. Details are covered in Automation Assistant.
What success looks like
Section titled “What success looks like”- The check shows ”✓ Token is valid, connection OK”
- The “Account” card shows your balance and quotas
- Back in the main window, a direct message gets a normal AI reply — no extra model setup needed
